When you book your stay with Casa Chameleon Hotels, the 1st night’s deposit is applied at booking but is refundable should you need to cancel outside of our cancellation policy.
Due to the intimate size of each Casa Chameleon property, cancellations have a material impact on our operations and other potential guests. Therefore, we adhere to the cancellation policy outlined below.
We highly recommend purchasing travel protection insurance. A list of providers can be found at www.insureyonder.com.

No credit or refund will be given, in whole or in part, for days not used due to late arrival or early departure.
Rates:
Rates are subject to change without notice. A tax of 13% will be added to all nightly and package rates.
Deposit / Cancellation Policy:
We understand plans can change, and we’ve tried to be as fair as possible when applying fees and charges.
The 1st night’s deposit is charged at the time of booking and is refundable if cancellation is made before the full and final payment deadline.
A $20 administrative fee applies to all refunds.
Full and final non-refundable payment is due:
45 days before arrival for Green Season (May 1 – Dec. 19)
45 days before arrival for High Season (Jan. 6 – Apr. 30)
60 days before arrival for Peak Season (Dec. 20 – Jan. 5)
All non-refundable promotions are non-cancelable, non-changeable, and must be paid in full at the time of booking. There are no refunds for cancellations, date changes, or early departures on these promotions.
Upon receipt of your payment, an “e-Confirmation of Reservation” will be sent, and you will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
Go or No-show Charges:
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures in accordance with the cancellation policies.
Privacy Statement:
Casa Chameleon Hotels will keep all guest information confidential and secure.
Payments:
All payments are accepted in US DOLLARS or the equivalent in Costa Rican colons at the time of payment.
Accepted payment methods:
Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club
Direct Deposit / Wire Transfer: Must be pre-arranged with our Reservations Department.
Important: Wire transfers may incur fees from both your bank and intermediary banks. Please confirm all charges to ensure full payment is received. Proof of wire must be emailed to info@casachameleonhotels.com.
For credit card payments, a signed authorization form is required. This can be requested from our reservations office and sent as a password-protected document via email.
Arrivals & Departures:
Check-in: From 3:00 PM onwards
Check-out: By 11:00 AM
A credit card is required at check-in for incidentals.
Smoking Policy:
Casa Chameleon Hotels are smoke-free properties.
Children:
Casa Chameleon Hotels are adults-only resorts.
Guests must be 16 years or older to stay at the hotel.
Guests must be 10 years or older to dine at Sentido Norte Restaurant, Casa Chameleon Las Catalinas.
Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis due to safety regulations.
Pets:
No pets allowed, including service animals.
Responsibility / Loss or Damage to Property:
Casa Chameleon is not responsible for:
Loss or damage to personal property or equipment.
Delays or additional expenses caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to travel delays, civil disturbances, natural disasters, government acts, or equipment failures.
